In addition to the
exemplary service, another goal of our cancer center is to be the
leader in technical knowledge and research in order to promote the
prevention of cancer as well as to care for and treat cancer
patients so that we can be cancer-free in the future. We organize
various programs and events to promote knowledge gathering and
sharing as follows:

Conduct research in the laboratory and
perform clinical trials in order to provide new and effective
information on how to prevent, diagnose, care, and treat
cancer within our hospital and together with other institute
in Thailand as well as internationally. |

Cancer Registry Service - collect cancer
statistics for all cancer patients at Samitivej Hospital.

|
|
Set up Tumor Board Conference within
Samitivej Srinakarin Cancer Center and in other institution in
cooperation with other hospital in the Samitivej family,
namely Bangkok General Hospital and others. The Tumor Board
Conference is a meeting among specialized physicians from
various fields to jointly study each case. |

|
Participate in meetings as a lecturer and
present research or clinical trial findings in medical
conferences. |
|
|
Host medical conferences in which Samitivej
Hospital is the main institute that continually conducts
medical
research. | |
