     The Infectious Disease Clinic at Samitivej Srinakarin Children's Hospital provides diagnosis and treatment for all infectious diseases, ranging from infection in the bloodstream (septicemia), meningitis, pneumonia to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome from HIV virus. Our clinic cares for both outpatient as well as inpatient.
The clinic offers the following services:
1.
Treatment for patients who has contracted a rare or complicated infectious disease.
2.
Treatment for patients who has a disease which is resistant to drugs or not responding to treatment as expected.
3. Assess patients that is frequently ill or have fever without knowing the cause
4.
Care and follow up with patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV).
5. Care for patients who have post-surgical infections and those in ICU.
6.
Consultation on vaccination and on patients who have problems after receiving a vaccine.
