In July 2003, Samitivej opened the first and until today the only dedicated private hospital for children in Thailand.  At Samitivej Srinakarin Children's Hospital, we recognized the importance of continual development and the different medical needs of children.  In the Children Hospital we have create a comprehensive range of medical service for the children and their family in a very dedicated environment.

The Children Hospital offers highly specialized services such as adolescent psychiatry, down syndrome, weight control,  pediatric snoring and many pediatric  sub-specialties.  Our team of highly skilled medical specialists and caregivers are experienced in treating the medical, surgical and emotional needs of children.  Since inception, the Children Hospital has developed a reputation for its Bone Marrow Transplant and Neonatal intensive care services. 

It is in our culture to continue to innovate and bring the best healthcare to our customers.  In May 2006, Samitivej Srinakarin Children's Hospital opened its Teen Center.  Another first of its kind in Thailand, the opening was graced by Her Royal Princess Ubolratratana.  The Teen Center recreates the environment familiar to today's teenagers, so that their needs and development can be addressed by professional medical teams.

The comprehensive range of tertiary children's services at Samitivej Srinakarin has made the hospital a center of referral for Bangkok and areas around Bangkok.
